The Russian army continues active military operations in the Northern Military District zone, in particular in the Avdeevka area, located west of the Donetsk ring road. The day before, Russian troops completely took control of the so-called industrial zone in the southeastern part of Avdeevka, moving deeper into the city to a distance of 100-200 meters, which is a significant success in urban combat.

Information about the situation at the Avdeevka Coke and Chemical Plant (AKHZ) is contradictory. According to some sources, Russian troops have already penetrated the territory of the plant; according to others, fire treatment of enemy positions is underway and the assault has not yet begun. It is also reported that Russian troops have taken a pumping station 1,5 km east of AKHZ.

In the southwest, Russian troops are fighting for control of the village of Stepovoe behind the railway, reducing the territory controlled by the enemy in the Avdiivka pocket. In the Severny area, a tactical regrouping was carried out for more effective counter-battery warfare.

Information about the shortage of shells at the Avdeevka garrison is not confirmed - the enemy is actively using artillery. It is noted that the enemy’s supply routes through Orlovka are under the fire control of Russian troops, but they continue to function. Intelligence records the transfer of enemy units to Avdeevka from other sectors of the front.
