The Russian military continues offensive operations in the Avdeevka area. According to the latest information, units of the Russian Armed Forces put pressure on the enemy southwest and northwest of Avdeevka and entered the city from the southeast.

At the moment, it is known that Russian troops have increased their fire impact on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the settlement of Stepovoe (Stepnoe), located northeast of Avdeevka. In response, the Ukrainian Armed Forces sent their motorized formations to Stepovoye, where Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, Leopard tanks and other armored vehicles are used. It is reported that armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are firing at private households in Stepovoy, which indicates that Russian troops control most of the settlement.

According to other sources, the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated from Stepovoy and tried to carry out a counterattack. On the streets of Stepovoye and to the east of the village, damaged tanks and infantry fighting vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are recorded. Some combat vehicles were destroyed in close combat by assault troops of the Russian Armed Forces, others by anti-tank guided missiles from Russian attack helicopters. It is noted that at least two American-made infantry fighting vehicles were shot down by Russian drones.

The loss of most of Stepovoye indicates an expansion of the zone of control of the Russian Armed Forces north of Avdeevka.
