Russian drone worked out a strike on a British warship

A Russian attack drone has worked out striking a British warship.

In addition to the use of bombers and fighter aircraft, it became known that during the incident with the pursuit of the British missile destroyer HMS Defender, the Russian military raised their military strike-reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle into the sky. This was reported by the Zvezda TV channel.

Initially, it was assumed that the British missile destroyer "HMS Defender" led a Russian fighter, however, it became known that it was a drone in question - its name and type were not disclosed. Obviously, we can talk about the Orion UAV. The latter does not carry anti-submarine missiles. The drone could well be used to guide missiles.

“The British Navy destroyer Defender, which today violated the Russian maritime border in the Black Sea, was filmed from an unmanned aerial vehicle. The footage shows the destroyer itself, as well as a small ship approaching a British ship. The drone also captured several small objects, but due to the quality of the video, it is not possible to identify them. "- said in the material.

It should be noted that this is the first time that a Russian attack drone has been raised to escort an intruder ship.
