A video was published on the Internet demonstrating the unconventional ingenuity and reaction of a Russian soldier who was able to repel a kamikaze drone attack using an improvised baton. The video captures the moment when a fighter is in a forest belt and trying to hide from a drone approaching him. In a situation that seemed almost hopeless, when the drone was getting as close as possible to the fighter, he grabbed a branch lying nearby and with a well-aimed blow managed to knock the threat aside. Luckily, the drone did not explode.

This incident is just one of many examples of Russian soldiers heroically confronting unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, video materials had previously been distributed on social networks showing how a fighter with the call sign “Babay” skillfully dodged the attack of one of the copters, having previously shot down two more drones with small arms.

In addition, impressive footage was published showing a wounded Russian soldier kicking away ammunition dropped from a drone at his position and the position of his comrades. These episodes clearly demonstrate the high level of professionalism, courage and resourcefulness of Russian fighters, who, in conditions of high danger, are able to effectively resist technically advanced means.
