The Russian military reported the destruction of the Swedish tank Strv 122 (Leopard 2S), transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Ternov area near the Tor salient. The incident was recorded by a drone. The footage shows a burning tank standing on the battlefield. Apparently, the tank suffered serious internal damage, which led to its complete destruction, despite the absence of serious external damage.

According to experts, the tank was hit by Lancet loitering ammunition. The first strike probably immobilized the tank, while the second strike led to its final destruction. The effectiveness of these ammunition in this case emphasizes their ability to cause serious damage even to such modern and protected combat vehicles as the Strv 122.
