Turkey destroyed the Russian drone over Syria.

A Russian reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down by the Turkish army on March 2, 2020. According to a source citing terrorist information “Khayyat Tahrir al-Sham” (banned in the Russian Federation - ed.), Turkish troops destroyed the Russian drone, which is allegedly confirmed by the corresponding video posted by the terrorists.

In the video presented, you can see that we are really talking about a certain aircraft, destroyed, obviously, again using a portable anti-aircraft missile system. However, the drone cannot be identified in the video provided, however, it is alleged that the incident occurred today.

It should be clarified that it has already become known that the Turkish military and terrorists under their control are actively attacking both Syrian and Russian aircraft, even despite the fact that Ankara received a harsh warning from Russia of immediate consequences.

Currently, Turkey practically does not use its drones to attack CAA positions, since any border crossing leads to the immediate activation of Syrian air defense systems - only in the last day Turkey lost at least seven drones in the territory of the SAR, one of which was shot down by Russian air defense systems deployed at the Khmeimim airbase.
