At the moment, it is known that the Russian-made air defense system was destroyed in the province of Aleppo, while sources say that the launcher and the radar were very far away from each other, which indirectly confirms the information that the destroyed complex may be S-300 air defense systems, however, to date it has been assumed that these air defense systems are located on the border of Latakia and Hama provinces, and therefore a lot of questions arise.

The Syrian military has not yet commented on the loss of a long-range air defense system, however, given the fact that Turkey continues to use its drones, experts believe that the Russian Pantsir-S air defense systems that are in service with the ATS do not provide adequate efficiency in the fight against drones.
