Explosions were recorded in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Initially, an explosion was reported in Kyiv itself, but later explosions were also reported in the Kyiv region.

These events occur against the backdrop of attacks that the Russian army began to carry out on the infrastructure of Ukraine from October 10, 2022. This was a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. The strikes, according to Russian authorities, are aimed exclusively at military and energy facilities. Since the start of these actions, air raid warnings have been regularly announced in areas of Ukraine controlled by Kiev, sometimes covering the entire territory of the country.

At the moment, there is no information about the consequences of the explosions in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, however, control points and air defense systems could be the targets.
