Ukrainians are in panic amid the ongoing offensive of the Russian Armed Forces

Former CIA employee Larry Johnson, in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works, reported on the panicky state of Ukrainians against the backdrop of the ongoing offensive of the Russian Armed Forces. He compared the current situation to Operation Bagration in World War II, when the Germans lost the initiative and were driven out by Soviet troops.

Johnson notes that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not bring the expected results and after its failure, Russian troops launched an offensive. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces are making progress, moving forward several kilometers a day.

“Sometimes they walk a few kilometers, other days maybe a kilometer and a half, but they move forward.”, - he stressed.

Johnson also touched upon the topic of Ukrainians fleeing the country, comparing them to rats leaving the sinking Titanic. He claims that the confiscation of passports from citizens is connected with the authorities’ attempts to prevent their mass departure abroad.
