DPR forces are hitting Azov nationalists with unusual ammunition.

Due to the rather limited range of weapons available to the units of the Donetsk People's Republic, the latter inflict rather unusual, but extremely effective strikes from unmanned aerial vehicles on the forces of the Azov regiment (banned in Russia - ed.).

As it became known to the news agency Avia.pro, for strikes on the units of "Azov" by the DNR apply the so-called. "porcelain" ammunition. At its core, we are talking about a cocked grenade, which is located in a porcelain container. In particular, we are talking about an ordinary mug. Thanks to the use of the mug, it is possible to avoid the explosion of the grenade before the latter flies up to its target. This provides the ability to effectively strike at the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The DPR special forces use all means at hand to open enemy firing points and destroy them. Front-line ingenuity often comes to the aid of traditional weapons in combat conditions. So, for example, the guys from the 1st Special Forces of the NM of the DPR learned to use copters not only to collect intelligence and adjust fire, but also as "shock" UAVs. A dropping mechanism is attached to the drone, a porcelain mug with a raised (that is, without checks) grenade inside clings to it. Upon hitting the target, the mug breaks, and the grenade detonates., - report the journalists of the WarGonzo project.

In turn, experts draw attention to the fact that such tactics are not new. In particular, it was previously actively used during the Afghan conflict, however, then, instead of a porcelain mug, an ordinary faceted glass was used, and the technique itself was called the “Afghan tulip”.
