American M1A1 Abrams tanks are already stationed on the territory of Ukraine, as confirmed by recent photographs published by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These images were the first visual evidence of the presence of American armored vehicles in the Ukrainian armed forces.

Earlier it was reported about the transfer of 31 Abrams tanks to the Ukrainian army from the US Department of Defense. However, at the moment there is no information about the beginning of their combat use on the fronts. Ukrainian military personnel have received special training to operate these tanks, but there are now concerns about their use in real combat conditions.

These concerns are caused by the experience of using Leopard and Challenger 2 tanks, which were destroyed during the battles in the Zaporozhye and South Donetsk directions. The Ukrainian command is likely taking this experience into account in an attempt to avoid a similar fate for the Abrams.
