Jordan declares readiness to declare war on Israel

Jordan has taken a firm position regarding the conflict between Israel and Palestine; if Palestinians are evicted from the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, the country will declare war on Israel. Jordanian Prime Minister Bishar al-Khasawneh warned about this in his statement.

From his page on the social network, al-Khasawneh called such actions a “red line” for Jordan and said that they would be regarded as an act of aggression, entailing military confrontation. This comment by the Jordanian leader comes against the backdrop of growing tensions in the region.

Let us recall that Israel has launched a military operation in the Gaza Strip, the purpose of which, according to the Israeli command, is the destruction of the Palestinian Hamas movement and the release of hostages. During the IDF operation, the Israel Defense Forces gained access to Hamas underground tunnels and were able to reach the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
