The DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination reported intense shelling of Donetsk areas by Ukrainian armed forces. In particular, it was recorded that a drone was used to drop an explosive object in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk at 10:00 Moscow time.

In addition, from 00:40 to 11:35 Moscow time, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk was subjected to multiple shelling, during which 13 shells of 155 mm caliber were fired. Also at 6:05 Moscow time, the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka was fired at by three 152 mm caliber shells.

Kirovsky district is located in the southwestern part of Donetsk, and Petrovsky district is on the western outskirts. These areas are the furthest from the city center. Details of the damage and possible casualties as a result of these attacks have not been specified. DPR authorities continue to monitor and assess the situation.

The day before, Donetsk also came under a severe attack from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which led to a fire.
